~CA’s Back to School Bash on Saturday, Aug. 15th, 4:30-8:30pm at the Columbia Association Lakefront, will celebrate the new school year with a community-wide event. Families are invited to enjoy an afternoon of fun, including a science show, live music, and community resources.

~For Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers, Teen Night is Thursday, Aug. 13. Teens are invited to celebrate summer with an unforgettable Glow Party at the Columbia Association Lakefront! From 6–10pm, dance to the hottest tracks spun by a live DJ, dive into a TikTok-inspired ball pit, and play LED mini-golf, air hockey, chess and yard games.

Check out this amazing event happening 8/22 at Blandair Park. Hope to see you there!

Don’t forget about Popsicles With the Principals today at 4:00 pm at SFES!

The event is on, rain or shine (if it rains, the event will be inside the SFES cafetorium and we will pretend the overhead lights are sunshine 🌞).

We wanted to share the following emails received yesterday and today regarding the admin team at OMMS next school year. Please take the time to read the emails so that you are well informed.

The PTSA shares its unwavering support for our principal, Ms. Regina McLendon, and also looks forward to welcoming our new Principal and Assistant Principal next year! We know they will love the OMMS family as much as we do.

As we wrap up this school year, we would also like to thank our amazing OM community for its support of the OMMS PTSA. We couldn’t have done it without you. Let’s celebrate how lucky we are to call this place hOMe. ❤️

OM family- is your OMMS 8th grader jealous that they don’t have a yard sign celebrating their promotion from middle school? Fear not! Our own OM master craftsman, Sylvia Hennessie has saved the day. Order soon to make sure you get it in time to proudly display ASAP! Orders due 5/21 and cannot be extended due to productions time.

We hope to see you tonight at 6:30 for our final PTSA meeting of the school year! Don’t forget to grab dinner from the Big Greek Cafe from 5-9!
