We wanted to share the following emails received yesterday and today regarding the admin team at OMMS next school year. Please take the time to read the emails so that you are well informed.

The PTSA shares its unwavering support for our principal, Ms. Regina McLendon, and also looks forward to welcoming our new Principal and Assistant Principal next year! We know they will love the OMMS family as much as we do.

As we wrap up this school year, we would also like to thank our amazing OM community for its support of the OMMS PTSA. We couldn’t have done it without you. Let’s celebrate how lucky we are to call this place hOMe. ❤️

TWO MORE DAYS LEFT TO ORDER!

OM family- is your OMMS 8th grader jealous that they don’t have a yard sign celebrating their promotion from middle school? Fear not! Our own OM master craftsman, Sylvia Hennessie has saved the day. Order soon to make sure you get it in time to proudly display ASAP! Orders due 5/21 and cannot be extended due to productions time.

We hope to see you tonight at 6:30 for our final PTSA meeting of the school year! Don’t forget to grab dinner from the Big Greek Cafe from 5-9!

Don't forget! Our last meeting of the school year is this coming Monday, 5/18, at 6:30pm in the OMMS media center. We will vote on our incoming board for next school year. We are STILL in need of volunteers to fill required positions (recording secretary, treasurer, and president) as well as supplemental roles (VP of fundraising, staff appreciation chair) which are equally as vital. No experience needed, just a positive attitude and a desire to enrich our OMMS community.

Have no fear, the OMMS PTSA has your Monday evening all planned out for you! Grab some dinner from the Big Greek Cafe anytime from 5-9pm, and join us at school in the media center at 6:30pm for our last PTSA meeting of the year!

Days 4 and 5 of Teacher and Staff Appreciation! Day 4 was a full breakfast spread. The week was rounded out on day 5 with a mocktail party in the lounge, complete with fun garnishes, music, and a baked potato bar provided by the Admin team!!
We are so grateful for all the staff does for us, it was great to show them that with a full week of treats! Reach out if you’d be interested in helping with Staff Appreciation next year!

OM parents: Have you ordered your yard signs yet?? Great news!! 🥳

If you order by TOMORROW, FRIDAY, MAY 8th, your sign(s) will arrive ~May 22nd (instead of the first week of June). This means more time to celebrate your 8th/5th grader with your neighbors.

Day 3, ice cream! The PTSA stocked the freezer of the teachers lounge with all kinds of treats! We will be rising and shining with breakfast tomorrow morning. 🥞🧇🥓🍳
