With the passing of Ace Frehley, we pause to honor the life and legacy of a true rock icon. As KISS’s original lead guitarist, Frehley helped define the sound and spectacle of rock ‘n’ roll for generations. Thanks to donor John Downs (pictured below with Ace), University of South Carolina Libraries proudly preserves guitars signed by Frehley within our remarkable KISS memorabilia collection—a treasure that continues to inspire both music and marketing students alike.
