Charlotte Sweeney, a biological sciences major, is spending the summer in Sarasota, Fla., as an animal rehabilitation intern at Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium through the McCausland Internship Scholarship program.
We asked Charlotte: What are your internship goals this summer?
"I want to ask my internship mentor about her pathway to becoming a marine vet and I want to learn the day-to-day lifestyle of a vet working at an aquarium."

Sawyer Kolowith, a biological sciences major, is spending the summer in West Columbia, S.C., as a freshwater fisheries intern with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (Cohen Campbell Fisheries Center) through the McCausland Internship Scholarship program.
We asked Sawyer: What are you most looking forward to about your internship?
"I am most looking forward to the community aspect of the program. I am excited to build relationships with the associated faculty as well as getting to know my peers."

We asked Stella: What are you most looking forward to as a McCausland Intern?
"I am most looking forward to the opportunities provided by the McCausland Internship to push myself professionally. The access to webinars and coaching and the opportunity to turn experiences into tangible skills is something that will be beyond valuable. I am excited to use these opportunities to push myself professionally."
