Why is everything sooooo orderly at Agathos? Essentially, I see two main reasons why Agathos has routines, songs, and predictable rhythms from greetings to chores to traditions. First, “You shall love your neighbor as thyself” (Matt. 22:39). Predictable order equips everyone how to be a good neighbor in our “workplace”. Upholding routines brings comfort to all. Second, “He who is faithful in a little will be faithful with much” (Luke 16:10). Routines, chores, and manners are a means of showing respect to other men and women who are made in God’s image. When we take the initiative to be faithful in small ways (e.g., holding a door, saying “good morning”, chewing with our mouth closed (ha), assisting the teacher in distributing papers, cleaning up after lunch), we will be trusted with responsibility. Responsibility is a means of serving. Serving is a means of influencing. Influencing is an avenue for bringing Christ’s gospel to others. Daily small-thing-faithfulness is a great glory to God!

Three teams of Agathos Warriors brought their sharpest skills of grammar, logic, and rhetoric to the courtroom at last week's District 11 Mock Trial Competition! Amidst competitors from 12 counties, two Agathos teams met in the championship. Congratulations on advancing to State - Soli Deo Gloria!
