I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, and that you are preparing well for finals. Remember to take time to relax and replenish in between all of the craziness!

Also, don't forget that this Saturday we have an opportunity for members to serve at EdVenture Children's Museum as part of their annual Gingerbread Jamboree. If you are interested in participating in this event, please let me know! This is a great opportunity to give back to our community and pave the way with our SPARK initiative.

We are less than a week out from our New Member Recognition Event! Your exec members are busy planning and making sure everything is in order so that we can honor all of your hard work and recognize your achievement. We are so excited for next week, and hope you are too! Happy Halloween!

A perfect way to get involved with Golden Key is to volunteer at one of our SPARK events this month! We are excited to be helping with Halloween Hoopla at EdVenture Children's Museum this month, to provide a safe place for under-resourced children and their families to celebrate Halloween and trick-or-treat. The event will be on Monday October 31 at the museum from 4:00-8:00. Mark your calendars for our New Member Recognition Event! The university's provost will be joining us and speaking to our new members. We will be recognizing students who joined us last year as well as this year since the flood cancelled last year's New Member Recognition Event. The event will be held on November 6th from 4:00-5:00 in the Public Health Building, room 114. I look forward to seeing everyone there!

Hi Golden Key Members!
One week from today (Sunday September 25) we will be hosting a Resume/CV workshop. A representative from the career center will be leading the workshop and we will also be peer-editing one another's resumes, so please bring an electronic or physical copy with you. Additionally, we will be having professional headshots taken for all of those in attendance (for free), so dress to impress! I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and kicking off the year.
