FCA will be going to Air Raid Trampoline Park in London Kentucky one week from today, May 7. We will be there from 5-7 CST. The invite is open to any and every middle schooler, high schooler, and college student. They will be responsible for filling out their waiver and/or having their parent or guardian fill it out. They will also be responsible for transporting themselves to and from Air Raid. Other than that, FCA will cover the entry cost for them to participate in a night of fun and fellowship at the trampoline park.

At our final FCA meeting of the year, students made encouraging cards to give out to othersâreminding them theyâre not alone and inviting them to join FCA next year!
We were also blessed to hear from Alex Beam, who shared a powerful message about what it means to be made in Godâs image.
Key takeaways:
⢠We are created in Godâs imageâset apart from angels, animals, and plants (Genesis 2).
⢠God is slow to anger and abounding in love (Joel 2:13), and we are called to reflect that image.
⢠How do we do that? By showing the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23):
Joy in trials
Peace
Patience
Kindness
Goodness
Faithfulness
Gentleness
Self-control
Letâs carry this message with us as we finish the school year strong and look forward to a new year of FCA!

This morning, we were blessed to hear from David Kemp, who shared an incredible message based on Matthew 28. After Jesus had died and risen, the disciples worshipped Himâbut some still doubted. Thatâs such a powerful reminder: even in the presence of the risen Savior, some had questions. And thatâs okay.
Sometimes it feels like God comes through for usâand sometimes it feels like He doesnât. In those moments, doubt can creep in. But we still have hope, and thatâs what we cling to.
David challenged us to think about this: What if you had to go through all the hard things in life without Jesus? The truth is, BAD things happenâbut with Jesus, we donât face them alone. Thatâs the difference.
He also played âI Am Not Okayâ by Jelly Rollâa raw and real song that reminds us of the pain many people carry. As believers, we know that even when things arenât okay right now, itâs going to be all right. But so many students around us donât know that.
As we head into Easter weekend, Mr. Kemp told us to look at the people around us differently. Theyâre watching how we respondâto mistakes, struggles, and disappointments. If they see hope in us, they might want what we have. And what we have is Jesus.
The gift has already been paid in fullâproven by the resurrection. Jesus loves everyoneâeven those who seem the furthest from Him. Mr. Kemp reminded us to share that love.

This weekâs FCA meeting was led by LWC sophomore Connor Wilhoit, who shared an incredible message from Matthew 13:1-9 about the four kinds of soilârepresenting the condition of our hearts in receiving Godâs Word.
1ď¸âŁ The Path â Seeds (Godâs Word) are scattered but donât take root. Doubt and questions can arise here, but asking questions is a sign of seeking truth, and through that, faith is strengthened.
2ď¸âŁ Rocky Soil â Like a flower trying to grow through concrete, this is a dangerous place to be. Thereâs excitement and praise, but no deep roots or support system to sustain growth.
3ď¸âŁ Thorny Soil â This is where distractions and habits make it hard to fully commit. The thorns represent struggles and worldly challenges that can choke out our faith.
4ď¸âŁ Fertile Soil â A strong foundation, prepared for any storm. Growth isnât always easy, but when we are rooted in Christ, we thrive. âHe is the vine; we are the branches.â
Connor reminded us:
đ Read your Bible and pray dailyânot out of obligation, but with a willing heart.
đ When we change our perspective (what our foundation is), we can grow.
If you stay rooted in Godâs word, you will see blessings. âSee, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?â â Isaiah 43:19
What a powerful message! Letâs work on cultivating hearts of fertile soil.

Join us at FCA tomorrow morning to hear an encouraging message from Connor Wilhoit! Weâll have donuts and free FCA t-shirts for the âearly birds.â Just as Paul encourages us to ârun with perseverance the race marked out for usâ (Hebrews 12:1), letâs start the day with prayer, fellowship, and inspiration!

Today, our youth led small groups with the theme: LOVE.
âDear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.â â 1 John 4:7 (NLT)
God is the very definition of love, and without Him, we wouldnât truly understand what love is. His love is perfectâunconditional, unshakable, and freely given. Unlike human love, which can come with expectations, Godâs love has no requirements other than our willingness to receive it.
When we allow the truth of Godâs love to fill our hearts, it transforms the way we love others. The more we reflect on His love for usâeven when we didnât deserve itâthe easier it becomes to extend that same love to those around us.
Iâm incredibly proud of our youth for stepping up today, boldly sharing their testimonies, and leading discussions on Godâs love. May they continue to grow in their faith, share His Word, and be a light to others!
