Join Beacon on October 22 for our Certificate of Training for Infection Control Preventionist in Long Term Care seminar IN PERSON!

The curriculum covers federal and state requirements for an Infection Prevention and Control program; essential infection prevention principles; patient isolation and transmission-based precautions; antimicrobial stewardship; microbiology surveillance to identify multi-drug-resistant organisms; environmental cleaning; and resident and health care worker wellness and immunization.

Experienced Infection Preventionists will be available throughout the course to provide practical guidance, answer questions, and help participants apply key concepts to their facility’s needs. Questions are encouraged throughout the training, and participants will have opportunities to discuss real-world challenges and strengthen their practice.

We're halfway through our Annual Conference, and the schedule just keeps getting better!

Today, we welcome Jillian Michaels to the stage, followed by our Awards luncheon. We can't wait to celebrate our three Ceca Foundation Hero Award Winners, as well as our Mayer Handelman and Chair's award winners.
