We have exciting news about our gym floors. They were recently sanded and repainted. We are so proud of how they look!

As many Tennesseans at 8:00 this morning, we honored Dolly with the playing of “I Will Always Love You” over our intercom. Our students walked to class so quietly listening to her voice, as many of our staff members listened with tears in their eyes. As educators we are grateful for what Dolly has accomplished for so many of our students with the gift of Imagination Library books in their homes. Thank you, Dolly Parton and Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. 💗📚🎀

Our 4th graders are the student leaders of our school. For example, they are responsible for all aspects of our Tiger News program with the help of their sponsor, Brittany Oliver, Title I Teacher. Each day they lead our student body in the Pledge of Allegiance and Moment of Silence. They make any schoolwide announcements and celebrate birthdays and exciting events. We are celebrating Barbara Becnel's birthday today! Ms. Becnel, 3rd Grade, comes from a family of many teachers. Her favorite colors are black and red. She loves cats and teaching. This is her 30th year of teaching! Happy birthday, Ms. Becnel! 🥳💐🎉🎂

Happy birthday to Ann Oaks, Physical Education Teacher! Ms. Oaks has taught in Giles and Maury County, TN as well as in Polk County, Florida. She loves dogs and being outdoors. Her hobbies include photography, sports, yard work & gardening, kayaking and going to Disney World. 🥳
