Congratulations to Sarah Conway on her purchase of “Hopeful Dreams”! This filly has been such an inquisitive, sweet, smart, and just an awesome learning experience for my family and students! It was a beautiful drive through the VA. WVA, and PA mountainside. Hope settled in very quickly and her barn family was quick to welcome her! I can’t wait to see her progress in the coming years! 🐴 💕

Whew what a trip! Meredith and the entire VA 4-H team represented our State beautifully at the 2026 Southern 4-H Regional competition -July 31-Aug 2 in Perry, GA. Our exhibitors took home some nice ribbons and positive feedback by our competitors. I am so thankful for the VA team for their overall encouragement and spectacular sportsmanship throughout this competition. They cheered each other on, lending a hand or a necessary tool to make everything come together for this competition. Great job to all!

SOLD: 2024 Hopeful Dreams (Hope) Registered and insured, Welsh X, Hilin Peredur (Welsh X My Lucky Penny onsite (Grade POA). Currently measured at 13.2 1/2, expected to finish around 14 1/2. Loads, ties, cross ties for the farrier, and loves baths. Hope is easy to catch, has great feet, brave, athletic build, and loves the water. I could see her in a sport pony role. She leads well on both sides and lunges at the trot, ponies off another horse well and has been saddled once. She loves kids and has been around them her entire life. Serious inquires only. Asking mid-fours for an uncomplicated sale.

It was fun to have a little one on one time with Bonnie Boo yesterday! We got home in time for bushhogging and a few cool pasture pics. 💜

2 year old, Hopeful Dreams, registered Welsh X, sired by Hilin Peredur (Welsh B)and my mare, My Lucky Penny (grade P.O.A) to be listed soon! Today, was her first time being saddled and ponied by my student,12 year old, Gracie. Stay tuned for more updates and videos leading up to posting.

We had our first District 4-H Qualifying Clinic at the Cumberland 4-H Horse and Pony Club. Hunter Equitation, jumping, and showmanship were the focus. Thanks to Dora Wynne for being such an awesome clinician! Everyone learned a lot and had a blast.
