We would like to announce that we have a new page. We really did not want to make this transition but there were a few contributing factors that led us to this decision. We will be sending invites to our new page. Please share this information or invite individuals you think would enjoy seeing/learning about our kids and what we do at CWCIT.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. Let's hope we can make this transition go as smoothly as possible.

Please look for us a CWCIT - Coastal Washington County Institute of Technology.

Why You Should Attend:
Until now, there has been no opportunity for residential building and HVAC professionals to learn how to properly design and install energy-recovery ventilation. Attendees of this course will gain practical instruction on how to both design and install residential ventilation to meet North America’s only ventilation installation standard, the CSA F326 standard. Participants will use extensive worksheets in conjunction with detailed procedures to select equipment, size ducts and specify installation and control details necessary to design ventilation systems that satisfy both the ASHRAE 62.2 building code requirement, and the CSA F326 installation standard.

Maine Resident? Pay Half.

*Individual attendees can access up to $1200 in scholarship support to attend professional development courses like this one through December 31, 2024. See our registration page for how to apply.

Our morning group got to bring the cold inside this morning with our sensory snow play. We also got a surprise “field trip” onto the school bus before dismissal!

In keeping with our “bring the cold inside” theme, we had a treat with popsicles in the afternoon and we started our Valentine’s Day crafts.

Representatives from Bath Iron Works spoke with our students about who they are, what they do, and what they can offer after after graduation. They talked about the career opportunities and benefits they provide.

Students were then about to tour their trailer truck which contained a great deal of information as well as virtual reality simulators. The students were able to weld, spray paint and do a little emergency care. The students Mrs. Bailey spoke with felt it was very much worth their time and they were happy to have this opportunity.
