Fifth grade entrepreneurs took part in the Junior Achievement BizTown. Students worked together to build their own town, playing the roles of citizens, workers, town leaders, and consumers. They applied concepts such as money management, economics, and citizen responsibilities. Shout out to Mr. Barger, Ms. Floyd, and Ms. Stamper for preparing scholars for the experience.

After extensive research into the rich history of A.J. Lewis Greenview Elementary School, Ms. Michelle Floyd’s talented 5th grade historians proudly shared their discoveries with families and community members. Students highlighted key moments from our school’s past while also sharing their hopes and dreams for what’s to come! We even had a surprised visit from our former principal, Mrs. Gilliard. 💙💛💙💛

Ms. Edward-Richards’ first grade writers proudly launched their published class book, all about animals! Students enthusiastically shared their detailed, creative stories and amazing illustrations with their families during this special celebration. Ms. Edward-Richards also walked parents through the writing process, highlighting the hard work, creativity, and growth that went into each page. We are so proud of our young authors. Their published books are now available for sale!

A big congratulations to Greenview's 2026 Permanent Art Collection winner Brielle Williams! She created a photo realistic self-portrait with watercolor and pencil. She received the district's purple ribbon for the arts and a 100 piece art set to further her creative ideas. Her work will be framed and displayed at the district office for one year. Way to go Brielle! Thank you to our amazing art teacher, Mr. Matthew Myers for growing our young artists!
