Notice of Temporary Closure – Sandhill Children's Garden

Please be advised that the planned management of the forested acres at Sandhill Research and Education Center is scheduled to begin on Friday, June 5, 2026. To accommodate this work, the Children's Garden will be temporarily closed.

For the safety of all visitors, volunteers, and staff, these areas will remain closed for the duration of the project while heavy equipment and logging operations are underway. The closure is expected to last a minimum of 5–6 weeks; however, the timeline may change depending on weather, site conditions, and project progress.

We understand this closure may be an inconvenience, and we appreciate your patience and understanding while this important project is being completed.
