The 2026 MCH LEAP Spring Summit on April 10th was a success, thanks to passionate students, inspiring speakers, and meaningful conversations. Grateful for the memories made!

This week, April 11-17, the MCH programs at USC honored 2026 Black Maternal Health Week! 💭🤰🏾🖤

From teaming up with Power in Changing Diaper Bank to combat diaper needs in our local SC community, to meaningful discussions at MCHSA Journal Club on gestational diabetes and cardiovascular health. We closed the week by collaborating with USC’s Minority Sisterhood in Medicine to create care packages for moms and babies in need —- MCH at ASPH is being centered on service, learning, and Hope!

Thank you to everyone who showed up! Please continue to join us as we stand in solidarity, advocating for better maternal health outcomes across our nation and in South Carolina. Together we make a difference!

March is Women’s History Month — a time to recognize the strength, courage, and accomplishments of the incredible women who inspire us every day. As March ends - let us continue to celebrate the women who uplift, lead, and continue to make a lasting impact in our communities.
