The MU Family & Child Development Lab (directed by Dr. Ashley Groh, Ph.D.) is recruiting women (18 yrs+) planning to start work in a childcare setting or as a babysitter/nanny for the first time to participate in a study on the impact of childrearing on the brain. Participation includes online questionnaires (1 hour) and lab visits at 3 time points over the course of a year. During 1- to 2-hour lab visits, participants' brain activity will be monitored in response to infant expressions. COVID-19 safety precautions are taken for lab visits. Participants receive $50 after completing each time point (3 total) and an additional $50 after completing all time points for a total of $200.
