Nail trims, ear cleaning, and a**l gland services are $5 each. Baths start at just $10, depending on your dog’s size. Get all four services and receive $5 off.

We are excited to announce our Fall 2026 Dog Wash!

Join us in the Columbia Campus on Saturday, October 17, from 8 am to 4 pm for our annual Dog Wash. We are excited to host this year’s dog wash in our new Southern Regional Technology Center! Signage will be placed on campus regarding parking and entrance, but we will be utilizing the west entrance to the building. Cash only! Owners must show proof of up to date rabies vaccine status on all dogs!

Introducing our October Student of the Month: Allie!

“Hello, everyone! My name is Allie Stephens and I am a second year student with the Veterinary Technology program. I also have the privilege of serving as Vice President of the class of 2027. I chose Columbia State because even though it’s a smaller school, there’s plenty of room to create lasting friendships and growth. I chose the Vet Tech program because it’s the perfect mix of all my favorite interests; animals, science and problem solving. I love all animals, but farm birds such as chickens and ducks have a special place in my heart. My favorite course so far in the program has been Anatomy. I am a visual learner, so it was so satisfying to finally connect the dots between animals and their particular form of science. One of my favorite things about animal anatomy is the variety. No two animals are the same, they all have their differences that make them unique. One of the things I am most looking forward to after I graduate is putting all the knowledge I have obtained during my time in the program to use in the real world. My goal following graduation is to work in general practice and then to start a private animal rescue. My advice for anyone interested in the program is to apply and stick with it. It’s going to be challenging but it will be one of the most rewarding things you will do in your life. I wouldn’t be where I am today without my amazing teachers and supportive classmates. Today is a great day to save animals!🐾❤️”

Introducing our August Student of the Month: Josie Gist!

Hello everyone!! My name is Josie Gist, and I'm a second-year student in the Veterinary Technology program. I chose Columbia State because it just seemed like the perfect fit for me. All my schooling was paid for, and it's close to home, which I loved. I chose the Vet Tech program because animals have always had a special place in my heart, especially cats. I always knew my purpose was to care for and advocate for animals. I absolutely loved anatomy and getting to understand how everything in the body is connected. It was very hands on and so interesting. It gave me a new perspective on animals and how intricate they are. The thing I am looking forward to the most is continuing to expand my knowledge, skills, and graduating of course!! As of now, my plans after graduation are to work in a small animal practice close to home. My advice for anyone interested in this program is to apply!! It will be challenging, but everything you gain from it is so worth it. You just have to keep pushing yourself. The teachers support you in every way possible, and you make such meaningful connections with your classmates. Although the program has been super challenging, at the end of the day, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. I'm forever grateful for this program and the people within it. ❤️🐾

Last night Columbia State, TCAT, and Hoar Construction hosted the ribbon cutting and Open House for the new Southern Regional Technology Center. The SRTC Building is where our Veterinary Technology Program (and other health science majors) is now housed! We enjoyed getting to show off our new operating room, treatment area, and learnings spaces to the community. If you missed the open house but still want a chance to see the space, make sure and reach out to program personnel. We would love for all alumni and clinical affiliates to get a chance to tour and experience all this new building has to offer!
