- Meet Exec Monday! Meet our 2026 VP of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility Marin Adams! Marin is from Overland Park, Kansas and is studying Strategic Communication with a Minor in Business. As VP of DEIA, she organizes events and lessons about cultural events and accessibility visibility. Additionally, she informs chapter members a presentation about DEIA events around Columbia!

“I wanted to be in this position because I want all my sisters to feel safe and seen as their authentic selves. If that is in ability or identity, I want everyone to feel safe and educated about their sister’s cultures!”

“Over the last four months I had the incredible opportunity of studying abroad with Semester at Sea, sailing around the world visiting 10 countries on three continents!! This experience completely changed my life, pushing me out of my comfort zone and expanding my view of the world. Every conversation and experience had is one that I will carry with me! I will miss meeting local people, learning about their traditions and cultures, having experiences I could’ve only ever dreamed of, but most of all, the shipboard community! The ship really did become my home, filled with so much peace, love, and care for one another. If I could encourage anyone, it would be to get out, see the world, and be curious to learn from those around you! While this was the adventure of a lifetime, I am so excited to be back with all of my SK’s in the fall!! There truly is nothing like it🤍🤍”

- Meet Exec Monday! Meet our 2026 VP of Learning & Development Loryn Pumphrey! Loryn is from Champlin, Minnesota and is studying Finance. As VP of Learning & Development, she manages and tracks grade reports, oversee an academic committee and enforce our chapter scholarship program. Additionally, she is responsible for tracking academic performance, providing academic resources and incentives to members, and plans/runs informal chapter meetings!

“I wanted this position because I truly value academics, and I wanted to get more involved by taking on a leadership position that involves something I’m passionate about. I love that I get the opportunity to help motivate and celebrate my sister’s academic achievements!”
