🎯You must have a yellow Comet car tag when picking up a student in our car rider line. Scan the QR code to order a car rider tag. They will come home with your student!
🎯If you do not have a yellow Comet Car Tag, you will be asked to pull into a parking space so we can verify your pickup.

Friendly reminders to help for safe, quick and smooth loading dismissal:
🎯Remain in your car at all times!
🎯Pull forward (past the playground) if you need to assist in buckling your child.
🎯Pull ALL the way forward when loading. This means, your back door is aligned to the white column.
🎯Have your yellow Comet Tag displayed on the passenger side until your scholar is loaded into the car.

Interested in our “walker” procedure- call our front desk and schedule a meeting with one of our administrators.

Following these procedures will ensure a safe & quick car rider dismissal for all students and staff.

Instruction begins promptly at 7:30. Please ensure all students are in the building before 7:30.

Note- staff will be outside and in the hallways to assist all our young Scholars to remember their way to their new classroom.

As a reminder, tomorrow (Friday, April 28) is an early release day for Richland One students. Elementary schools will dismiss students at 11 a.m.; middle schools at 12:30 p.m.; and high schools at 11:45 a.m.

The Caughman Road community is grieving the tragic loss of our sweet Nathan. Nathan was a kindergartener at Caughman Road in the Montessori program. Nathan died Wednesday, April 5 from injuries sustained in a fire at his apartment complex. Everyone at Caughman Road is stunned by this loss and we would like for everyone to keep his family, classmates, teachers, and friends in your thoughts and prayers. Nathan was loved and adored by all. He was always there with a smile, a joke, and a hug.
We would also like to keep his sister, who is in fourth grade at Caughman Road in our thoughts and prayers as she recovers from injuries sustained in the fire.

Summer SOAR 2023 will be held June 5-July 21. Programs and activities offered for students at all grade levels include sports, robotics, music, visual arts, theatre, science, technology, math, reading and more.

Sessions will be offered at elementary school, middle school and high school sites throughout the district as well as sites throughout the community. Some programs are free while others have fees.

We kicked off our countdown to spring break with “Matching Monday”!

Mrs Kindrick & Ms Gentry in Lower El Montessori have jokes! They kicked off our spring break spirit week with a fun twin day prank style!

They worked with the parents to prank the class. Students in their class showed up in black shirts, jeans, and crazy socks.
