Greetings! My name is Stephanie Villamizar, and I am the owner of Songbird Music Studio, LLC. I am a teaching professional with 7 years experience working with beginner to advanced leveled voice students and beginner level piano students of all ages in the greater Columbia area. I hold a B.A in music with a concentration in voice from Columbia College and am working towards a Master's in vocal performance from the University of South Carolina.

I have professional performance experience as well as the flexibility and training to teach a variety of genres including; classical, musical theater, and popular music. I maintain a membership with the National Association of Teachers of Singing because I believe that one can never learn enough about their craft. I am proud to be the current worship leader at Heyward St. UMC in Columbia and teach private voice lessons for the Broadway Bound Musical Theater Company.

My goal as a teacher is to help you enjoy your music and reach your personal goals whether they are to entertain yourself or aspiring to have a career in music. Please reach out if you have any interest or questions so we can get you on your musical journey!
