One of the greatest privileges of being a speaker is attending conferences and meeting amazing people along the way.
Over the past six months, I've had the opportunity to speak in some incredible rooms and while I hope the presentations and insights I share are memorable, for me it's the genuine connections I’ve made that are unforgettable.

Google I/O 2026 made one thing very clear:
The future of search isn't about who gets the most attention. It's about who is the most relevant answer.
Google's AI Overviews now reach more than 2.5 billion users, and AI Mode has surpassed 1 billion monthly users. The way people discover information is evolving quickly. But here's the interesting part... This isn't a new conversation.
Back in 2016, when I created my DMO (Digital Media Optimization) framework, I defined SEO with a simple equation:
SEO = Frequency + Relevancy + Recency
Not because it sounded good. Because that's how trust is built.
Show up consistently.
Create content that genuinely matters to the people you serve.
Stay current and continue contributing to the conversation.
For years, many businesses focused on chasing rankings, clicks, and algorithms. Today, AI is reinforcing what mattered all along: authority, context, expertise, and relevance. The brands that will thrive in this next era won't necessarily be the loudest. They'll be the clearest. The most helpful. The most trusted. Stop chasing attention. Start creating relevance.
What do you think will matter most as AI continues to reshape search? 👇🏾

Something I don't talk about very often…
Most people know me from one of two places.
Either as the Director of Market Access for a MedTech company, sitting in executive meetings and helping navigate market access, reimbursement, and growth strategy. Or as the founder of Myrna & Co., where I help entrepreneurs, creatives, and professionals strengthen their visibility through organic marketing and digital strategy.
On paper, they look like two completely different worlds.
But to me, they've always felt connected.
Both require listening before speaking. Both require understanding people, not just processes. Both require finding the gaps, connecting the dots, and helping move ideas forward.
The boardroom has made me a better entrepreneur. Entrepreneurship has made me a better corporate leader.
And somewhere between the two, I've realized that strategy is just strategy. Whether you're building a business, launching a product, or helping someone become the best digital version of themselves.
Different rooms. Different conversations. Same curiosity. Same commitment to helping people move forward.
And honestly...I wouldn't want to choose just one.
If you've been waiting for permission to be all of who you are in every room, this is it.
Does anyone else feel like they live in two worlds at once? Drop a 🎯 below. I'd love to hear your story.

Last month, I spoke to a full room of photographers in Iowa and I told them to start blogging. Half of them looked at me like I had two heads.
Then I showed them what their dream client was actually typing into Google, and the room got very quiet.
Here's what I shared:
The SEO game has changed. It's no longer enough to blog about your latest wedding or session. AI has shifted how people and search engines discover you. Today, it's about topical depth where you’re writing content that answers the full conversation your ideal client is already having.
I call it the L.E.N.S. Framework, and it's how photographers show up when the right person is searching, whether that search happens on Google or through AI.
If you're a photographer or a creative professional who feels invisible online, there are tactics and strategies you can easily implement to get found.
Want to know where to start? Drop "LENS" in the comments and I'll send you the framework.

The BEST marketing makes people feel like working with you was their idea.
Not because you convinced them, but because you connected the dots clearly enough for them to see themselves in the solution.
That’s the shift most people miss.
Marketing isn’t about pushing harder.
It’s about creating alignment.
When your messaging reflects your audience’s reality…
When your presence builds trust before the conversation even begins…
When your content answers questions they haven’t fully formed yet…
The decision feels natural, effortless, and obvious.
That’s what happens when strategy meets authenticity.
Connection is the strategy. Always.
Save this as your reminder:
If it feels like you’re chasing, it’s time to refine the foundation.

Honestly, I have been feeling it lately.
I’ve had a full calendar, lots of travel, and access to the rooms I worked hard to get into. And some days, it genuinely feels like a lot.
But when I slow down enough to actually look at it, I realize this is a season I spent years building toward. And that shift in perspective changes everything.
Growth does not just expand your opportunities. It expands you. And that kind of expansion is not always comfortable.
So if you have been feeling stretched lately, I just want to offer this reminder. You are not just busy. You are living inside something you once dreamed of. Honor that before you rush past it. Swipe through these reminders if you ever need a reset in the middle of a busy season. Full transparency, I created these reminders as inspiration for you, but I needed it too.

ShutterFest now. Focus Forward ‘26 next.✈️
I know I’ve been a little quiet here lately, but I’m still here… just working, creating, and in full speaker mode.
Between all the things happening lot in the world, and a very full season behind the scenes, I’ve been a little more heads down than usual.
That said, I’m so excited to be speaking at Focus Forward ’26 next weekend and sharing how to get found in the age of AI through blogging and SEO. It’ll be my first time in Iowa, and I’m really looking forward to connecting with a new creative community!
(Also, I’ll be sharing from ShutterFest in my stories 😉)

Women's History Month isn't just a calendar moment. It's a call to remember whose shoulders you're standing on.
Every boundary pushed, every door forced open, every "no" turned into a movement… it was done so you could walk in fully. Not halfway. Not quietly.
So today's reminder is simple: take up your space. Own your brilliance. Show up without apology.
That is the legacy they built. Honor it by living it.
🤍 Save this if you needed the reminder today.
