🧠 Children regulate through their bodies and relationships long before they regulate through words.

It's easy to show up for the people around us with patience, encouragement, and grace.
But when it's our turn? The script changes.
We say things to ourselves that we'd never say to a student sitting across from us. We hold ourselves to standards we'd never impose on a friend. We forget that we are also someone worth speaking kindly to.
Let today be an invitation to try something different. To take the words you already know how to give — and turn them inward, just for a moment.
