Behind every growing teacher is someone who believes in them. 💙🍎

At Teach Right USA, mentorship is a cornerstone of our program, providing teacher candidates with the coaching, encouragement, and practical support they need to thrive in the classroom. A special shoutout to Ms. Bailey for investing in Ms. Scruggs as she continues her teaching journey. This is what building the future of education looks like!

Strong teachers build strong teachers! 🍎✨

One distinction of the Teach Right USA program is our strong mentorship model—pairing teacher candidates with dedicated mentor teachers who provide real-world guidance, encouragement, and support. We’re grateful for Ms. Rapp, who is mentoring Teach Right teacher candidate Ms. Talbert, as we work together to build South Carolina’s next generation of educators!

In January, we had the opportunity to tour schools in the United Kingdom, followed by visits to schools in Madrid in March. This month, we were privileged to host a group of international school leaders and mathematics teachers here in South Carolina as part of a Global Math Fellowship project led by Teach Right USA.

Our visiting fellows represented Sweden, the Netherlands, India, and the United Kingdom, bringing rich perspectives and meaningful collaboration to classrooms across our partner schools.

Dr. Tammy White, Teach Right USA’s Chief of Strategy and Innovation, led roundtable discussions between the international teachers and South Carolina educators as part of the ongoing Global Math Fellowship, creating opportunities for shared learning, reflection, and professional collaboration.

This visit marks an important step in a three-year international partnership focused on strengthening mathematics instruction in South Carolina and building connections among educators worldwide.

More details and photos from this incredible experience are coming soon!

🌍 Global collaboration for local impact.

Always learning to better train and support teachers in South Carolina. I had a wonderful experience attending the KED Conference in the UK and collaborating with educators across three continents on student growth, personalized learning, school culture, teacher wellbeing, and professional development.

Thank you to Kunskapsskolan Education AB and Shevington High School for an inspiring experience that will directly inform our work with teachers back home.
