with Payton Busselman, Chi’s Vice President of Honor 🌟
“Hi, I’m Payton Busselman Phi Mu Chi’s VP of Honor! My position revolves around communication and understanding with chapter members in confidential meetings to help them come up with plans to help strengthen whatever they need whether that’s academically , financially or socially. This position has allowed me to develop strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills while serving as a positive role model for my sisters. One of the most fulfilling aspects of the role is being someone my sisters can come to for help and work with them to find the best solution based on their needs and schedule and situation. Overall, this role has been a rewarding opportunity to support my sisters while making a meaningful impact on our organization.”

STUDY ABROAD SPOTLIGHT ✈️
A special message from Eliza Weaver, PC ‘23, about her time studying abroad in Brussels, Belgium.
“I spent the semester in Brussels, Belgium, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! While I was there, I took classes and interned all while getting the chance to explore London, Malta, Amsterdam, Paris, and Dublin to name a few. Adapting to life overseas definitely had its challenges, but every single experience made it worth it. This experience was incredibly unique, and I’m grateful for the chance to learn, work, and live in the heart of Europe. Coming home also reminded me how thankful I am for Phi Mu, and the sisterhood I’m lucky to come home to! 💗”

with Madison Tingley, Chi’s Vice President of Risk Management ✨💐
“VP of Risk Management is a role with a lot of responsibility but a lot of room for self discovery and growth. As VP of Risk Management, I am in charge of safety at social events, the Wellness Board, the Sustainability Chair, and the Sober Monitor Coordinator. I work with everyone in these roles to plan wellness events every month, complete a green initiative to keep our green chapter status, make sure there are enough safety monitors and supplies at every event, and meet with members one on one who are experiencing mental health struggles. This role has been challenging at times, but I have learned so much about leadership and managing many different tasks at once. This experience has allowed me to take full advantage of membership in Phi Mu by allowing me to meet so many new people and being able to give back to all of my sisters.”
