It’s already the 5th of June and I meant to make a final decision and post by June 1st. Once again I’m “ a day late and a dollar short”.
I’m truly sad to say that I will not make it up to MT for the class reunion/Heritage Days. There are several factors that are coming into play but I won’t bore y’all with the details, you can always stalk my personal page or message me if inquiring minds really want to know.
Where does that leave reunion plans?? Well I am still working on compilation of a master class list and will be posting about who is and isn’t accounted for soon.
No solid plans for a get together or the parade have been made. Several of us have thrown out ideas but no firm plans have been made.
It was discussed meeting at one of the pavilion’s before the concert in the park. I was informed that the pavilion’s are available on a first come first serve basis and can not be reserved.
We also discussed just having a meet and greet somewhere, again with it being Heritage Days most pleased aren’t taking reservations.
The parade is a big draw with many saying they would ride a float, make signs etc. it would be awesome if someone would spearhead getting a flatbread or other truck to use and decide if/how to decorate. We also need to let the Heritage Days committee know we’re planning on participating and if we have any particular song/announcement (ie: CFHS Class of ‘84) we need to let them know. I have the contact info in my notebook and can get it to you if you’d volunteer to take this task on.
If someone is willing to take over spearheading things I will do what I can to help and discuss ideas. Just message Chris Craft
