Our Miss Herman!

Meet your Teacher of the Year Finalists!

Through the generosity of City Automall and Kasey Shirey, the WCCS Teacher of the Year receives a new car (via a free 1-year lease). These awards serve to honor their excellent work and commitment to lifting up students across our schools. Thank you to Bravo Floral and Running Around Screen Printing for helping support our teacher recognition program throughout the school year! We are blessed with amazing community partners!

Miss Hannah Herman -- Guidance Counselor at Mary Raber Montessori and Coesse Elementary School

Miss Herman's nominator, an MRMS colleague, wrote: "Miss Herman is a dedicated school counselor who shows a genuine passion for supporting students in all aspects of their growth. She works closely with children to help them develop essential daily skills while fostering positive relationships with their peers.

Her impact is seen not only in structured settings, but throughout the entire school day. Whether she is on the playground, in the gym, or stepping in wherever a student needs support, Miss Herman is always present and engaged. She consistently goes out of her way to provide encouragement, build confidence, and support students’ self-esteem.

Miss Herman’s willingness to meet students wherever they are and her commitment to helping every child feel supported make a meaningful difference in the lives of those she serves."

What a wonderful Spring Picnic! We’re thankful for the beautiful weather, sunshine, and great turnout from our school community. It was so fun seeing students of all ages playing soccer together while parents cheered them on — and joined in too!

Thank you for the amazing support of our silent auction, and a special thank you to our PTSO for the wonderful food, setup, and preparation that made this event so enjoyable for our families. We’re grateful for such an amazing community! 🌞⚽️💙

From the thoughtful gifts, sweet notes, delicious food, and fun shirts to the wonderful song from our students, we felt truly loved and appreciated all week long. Your kindness and support mean so much to us.

We’re a little late sharing, but we recently held our very first Science Fair and it was so much fun! 🔬✨

Students ages 3 through 5th grade were invited to participate, and we had so many creative and exciting projects on display. We loved seeing our students explore, experiment, and share their ideas!

A huge shoutout to Grace College for partnering with us and providing judges for the fair. We are so thankful for their support and encouragement for our students.

We’re already excited to see how our Science Fair grows next year! 💙

We had an amazing time at our first Breakfast Crew event! ☀️🥞

Volunteers joined our students for breakfast, helping them start their day with great conversation, smiles, and positive energy. The kids absolutely loved it, and so did we!

We’re already looking forward to our next event on May 8th!
