🎨🥂 Our next Moms’ Night Out is happening IN! 💕

For the first time, we’re hosting our Moms’ Night Out right here at Community Playroom, and we’re mixing things up with a little creativity!

Join us for an evening of painting, sipping, snacking, and connecting with other moms in our community.

With guidance from a local artist, we’ll each create a personalized piece of art featuring our little one’s name — something special to bring home! Add some delicious grazing platters, drinks, and great company, and we’ve got the makings of a wonderful night together. ✨

One chant, three ways to play! 🧺💛

We’re going on a picnic in our playgroups this week! And this simple little chant is a fun way to encourage language and communication through play.

The best part? Children can join in at their own level - whether they’re coming up with ideas and naming objects, choosing something from a mystery bag, or communicating through gestures while a grown-up supplies the words.

Every child can participate, and every contribution counts! 💛

Try this one at home with your little one! All you need is a basket, a few familiar objects, and a little imagination.

Your child is learning math right now, and they probably don’t even realize it!

From building towers to sorting toys, everyday play is helping your little one develop important early math skills.

🧩 Playing with puzzles = learning to match
🧺 Sorting toys by color = practicing classification
🧱 Building a tower = comparing size and height
📏 Using words like “taller,” “shorter,” “longer,” and “smaller” = exploring measurement
🔢 Counting blocks = building number sense

It may look like “just play,” but your child is learning to notice differences, make connections, solve problems, and understand how things relate to one another.

Every time your child explores, sorts, builds, compares, counts, and experiments, they’re strengthening the early math skills they’ll use for years to come. Math is everywhere, and play is one of the most joyful ways to learn it!
