The APPLE Scholarship Foundation is accepting 2023 scholarship applications now through Wednesday, April 5. 🍎🍎🍎🍎
The scholarships are available to students who plan to attend community college or a four-year university, and also to students who plan to pursue post-secondary vocational training at an accredited organization.
The online application includes a well-written essay on the topic, "Dreams for my Future - describe how continuing your education at an accredited college or trade school will help you reach your career and/or personal goals." Essays should not exceed 500 words.
Applicants must be qualified as current graduating high school seniors attending any of our Colton Joint Unified School District high schools or the children of CJUSD employees. All applications must be received by Wednesday, April 5, 2023. Qualifying members of the Class of 2023 may apply at

Out of nearly 100 applicants from throughout the district, we interviewed and awarded scholarships to the following 16 graduating CJUSD seniors and/or students of CJUSD employees:

The APPLE Scholarship Foundation was formed by district employees in 2001 and over the years has paid more than $390,000 in scholarships for Colton Joint Unified School District students and students of our employees.
This is possible because of generous support from employees throughout the district through regular payroll deductions and from the community through participation in our fundraising events. It is a collective investment in the future of both our students and our region.

The following 20 students are receiving a total of $25,000 in various amounts to help them pursue their personal paths to lifelong education.
