Once a month, our 8th graders in Mrs. Druffel’s Science class head down to the Kindergarten classroom to become the teachers!

These visits give our older students the opportunity to teach science concepts while working alongside our younger learners on fun, hands-on projects.

Today’s challenge? Using a variety of materials to design and build a tree inspired by the classic book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom! 🌴

We love seeing our older and younger students learning from one another, getting creative, and working together toward a common goal.

Pretty cool stuff happening in Colton! 🐾
