This is a reminder that CHS' Homecoming Dance ends tonight at 11 pm. Please be sure your child has a ride to pick them up from Colton High School by 11 pm.

CHS Homecoming Dance Info

Good Afternoon Yellowjackets!!Here are a few reminders for the dance:1) Homecoming Dance is Saturday Oct 21st from 7pm - 11pm in front of the MPR2) Students can park or get dropped off at the parking lot on 3rd street next to the MPR.3) Students and their guests must bring their ID. Receipts do not grant you entrance to the dance. We will check ID's and scan students in for check in.4) Once students enter the dance, students may not leave until 10:30pm - 11:00pm. If an emergency arises, admin will contact student guardians for approval to leave dance.5) Attached are the rules for the dance that were signed when you turned in your permission slip. 6) Please make sure to tell your rides home that the dance ends at 11:00pm and to plan accordingly.7) Outside food and beverages are not permitted.

ELPAC Test on March 14

Good Evening,Your child will be taking the ELPAC Summative Assessment on March 14, 2023. Your child should report to Rm. 202 at the beginning of 2nd period on March 14 with their charged Chromebook.Students in TK/Kindergarten through grade twelve, who are classified as English learners, will take the ELPAC Summative Assessment every year until they are reclassified as proficient in English. Students are tested on their skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) are the tests used to measure how well students understand English when it might not be the language that they speak at home. Information from the ELPAC tells your child's teacher about the strengths & areas in which your child may need extra support.
