This solar project, done 18 months ago, underscores the importance of conducting a thorough site assessment before undertaking any solar installation project. While the outward appearance of a completed solar job may seem flawless, overlooking critical details, such as the roof's condition, can lead to issues down the line. Providing accurate and comprehensive site assessments to homeowners ensures that potential problems, like the need for roof repairs, are identified and addressed beforehand, preventing complications and ensuring the longevity and efficiency of the solar installation. MONOCRYSTALLINE VS POLYCRYSTALLINE SOLAR PANELS:
It all boils down to efficiency and cost, but the problem is, how can you tell by looking at the Panels? It's pretty simple. See the image below!

The primary difference between monocrystalline (mono) and polycrystalline (poly) solar panels lies in the type of silicon used in their construction and their efficiency. Here's a breakdown:
Monocrystalline Solar Panels:
Material: Monocrystalline panels are made from a single crystal structure, usually sliced from a cylindrical ingot of pure silicon.
Efficiency: Monocrystalline panels generally have higher efficiency rates compared to polycrystalline panels. The uniform crystal structure allows them to convert sunlight into electricity more efficiently.
