Little Pirates Childcare Center is looking for a dependable, caring, energetic, and engaging person to join our team!
🕑 Part-Time: Monday–Friday | 2:00 PM–6:00 PM
⭐ This position will begin as part-time, with the possibility of becoming a full-time position.
This position will primarily work with our school-aged children during the afternoon.
Daily responsibilities include:
🍎 Preparing and setting up afternoon snack
🚌 Getting school-aged children off the bus and safely into the center
📝 Signing children in and maintaining accurate attendance
📚 Helping with homework as needed
🎨 Planning creative activities and finding ways to keep children engaged
👀 Actively supervising children at ALL times
🧹 Maintaining a clean classroom through daily sanitation, sweeping, mopping, and general cleanup
We are looking for someone who is:
🔹 18 years of age or older
🔹 Dependable and punctual
🔹 Patient, caring, and attentive with children
🔹 Able to work well as part of a team
🔹 Willing to learn and follow classroom and center procedures
🔹 Comfortable taking initiative & actively interacting with children
🔹 Serious about working in childcare
🔹 Able to pass all required criminal background checks
⚠️ Active supervision is a HUGE part of this position. We need someone who understands that supervising children means being present, attentive, and engaged—not simply being in the same room with them.
