September is Su***de Prevention Month

This month, our students participated in a short su***de prevention lesson created by our Counseling Department. Students and teachers were then encouraged to decorate their classroom doors with meaningful messages to promote awareness, hope, and the importance of supporting one another.

Congratulations to our Door Decorating Contest winners!

Miller County Middle School:

Miller County High School:
Tie! Ms. MK’s 4th Block Class & Ms. Tammy’s 1st Block Class

A huge thank you to School Resource Officer Green for initiating this activity and helping organize the judging of our doors!

We are also incredibly thankful to the Miller County Sheriff’s Office for taking the time to judge our doors and for providing prizes for our winners!

And a BIG thank you to all of our teachers and students who participated and helped make this activity so meaningful. Your creativity and willingness to spread a message of hope and support made a difference!

Together, we can remind one another that every life matters, every voice matters, and no one has to face their struggles alone.
