As we close out the 2025–2026 school year, we took time to celebrate the incredible staff members who have dedicated 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 years to Sand Creek High School and D49. Their commitment, passion, and care for our students and community are what make SCHS such a special place.

We also honored three outstanding retirees for their years of service, support, leadership, and friendship along the way: Chief Ben Brown, Joann Kruizenga, and Felipe Ogas. Each of them has left a lasting impact on Sand Creek High School, and they will be deeply missed.

Thank you to all of our milestone honorees and retirees for the countless lives you’ve touched, the memories you’ve created, and the legacy you leave behind. Here’s to celebrating your achievements and wishing our retirees all the best in their next chapter! 💙🦂

Congratulations to Collin DeBord on his commitment to Southern Utah University to major in Biology to become an ER doctor. He has earned scholarships totaling almost $60,000 spread over 4 years. Collin is an alumni of Horizon Middle School. We are so proud of you!

Below are some summer opportunities for athletics at SCHS if your child may be interested in playing these sports next school year. 🏐Girls Volleyball will host open gyms throughout the summer from 5-7pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning on 5/26. Visit their page for more specific information!
🏈Football will practice Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays beginning on 5/25. Visit their page for information on practice, 7v7 dates, weights days and the start of the school year scrimmage date.
🏀Girls Basketball has already begun their open gyms. Check out their page for dates and times.
