Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first PTO meeting of the year! We have lots of exciting things happening, and we’d love for you to be part of it!

If you couldn't make it to the meeting; here is a RECAP!

📚 School News: Kindergarten enrollment is growing, and we have a 3rd kindergarten teacher again this year! Keep an eye out for STEAM Nights & BAAC dates.

🏃 FUND RUN: Our biggest fundraiser is coming up! We’re already close to $4,000 in sponsors! Every student gets a shirt AND a prize. We’ll also need volunteers to help hand out popsicles after each grade runs. 🍧

🎉 PARADE FLOAT: Our theme is Colorful Colorado! 🌈🏔️ We’re celebrating 150 years of Colorado & 250 years of America! 🇺🇸
📅 Float Meeting: Thursday, Sept. 3rd at 4 PM in the STEAM Room. Come help with the design and getting our students involved!

👩‍🏫 TEACHER APPRECIATION: Monthly appreciation continues, plus special staff lunches in October & May. Volunteers will be needed for setup and serving.

🎄 HOLIDAY NIGHT: We’re planning crafts, Santa letters, cookies & milk! Have an easy 15-minute craft idea? Send it our way!

🐯 NEW MASCOT: We’re hoping to get our Talbott Tiger a new costume!

💪 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: PTO is creating a list of parents who can help teachers with classroom prep and volunteering. PTO will cover half the cost of the required background check.

With summer now starting, Talbott PTO wants to thank our amazing sponsors one last time for your support which gave us an amazing year! We were able to do some much like many field trips this year, all our amazing clubs, and the staff was so appreciated with yummy treats all throughout the school year and an awesome appreciate week ! Thank you and we hope to have all you amazing sponsors again next year!!
