Spark Mindset, Inc's mission is to become the nations leading social enterprise company for cybersecurity education and training in historically disadvantaged communities. Spark Mindset offers educational programs to give students - particularly students of color and girls - opportunities to learn and earn credentials in the field of cybersecurity. through game-based learning, Spark Mindset creates opportunities for economic mobility by increasing the number of students of color and girls who find their way in a predominantly white, rapidly growing tech field

Our vision is to help break the cycle of poverty and hopelessness in underrepresented communities.

The National Center for Children in Poverty states that 29.7 million children - 41% of all children in the US - live in poverty. Poor children are overwhelmingly non-white: 69% of children in poverty are non-white. Specifically, 24% of poor children are African American, and 36% are Latino. Numerous systemic issues contribute to multi-generational poverty in the US, including a lack of educational opportunities that develop the knowledge, skill, and opportunity to attain careers in high-wage industries.

Our mission is to spark opportunity by increasing access to transformative technology careers.

Through training and access to technology, high-value technical certifications, and continual innovation we will address the growing demand for highly skilled workers in the technology workforce.
