Forensic Science Class Shout-Out

A big shout-out to our Forensic Science class for an incredible quarter and their exciting mock trial! It has been so much fun watching evidence being collected throughout the school, students conducting investigations, and even a few innocent staff members generously donating strands of hair—all in the name of science!

We are so proud of the creativity, curiosity, and enthusiasm our students have shown in all of these activities. Check out some of those photos.

A huge round of applause to everyone who took part in our Second Annual Talent Takeover! ​

From powerful singing and amazing dancing to hilarious comedy, impressive instruments, and one-of-a-kind performances, our students brought the stage to life with confidence, creativity, and courage. It takes real bravery to step into the spotlight, and each performer absolutely shined!
Thank you for sharing your talents, supporting one another, and making this event bigger and better than ever. You proved that when passion meets hard work, incredible things happen.

Friday they will be heading to Elitch Gardens' Championship Coaster Contest, which invites students to design unique, gravity-powered roller coasters for a chance to win team trophies, 2-day park tickets, rapid rides, and meal vouchers. Judged by the American Coaster Enthusiasts, this educational event combines engineering principles with thrill-ride design.

VMS' Arbor Day event was a huge success!

The SavATree team brought so much energy, passion, and knowledge—their engagement with our students was phenomenal! The tree crew was incredible, and students loved the hands-on experience and learning about all the neat things you can do with trees and plant care.

Take a look at some of the incredible work our students are doing in Roller Coaster! Their creativity and problem-solving skills are on full display, and if these early builds are any indication, the final projects are going to be amazing.

Do you remember the District Earth Day Art Competition?

A huge shout out to Amber (8th grade), our 1st Place District Winner, and Rada (6th grade), our 2nd Place District Winner!

Congratulations to these two amazing students for their incredible work and creativity! Their posters will be shared on the district website, so keep an eye out—and Amber’s winning poster will be printed and distributed to all middle schools in the district. Congratulations again!

To celebrate Earth Day and Arbor Day, we are hosting a Community Planting Event on April 24th. Join us as we come together to plant, celebrate our planet, and beautify our campus! We will planting a variety of bushes, shrubs, and trees.

You’re all invited!

Come enjoy some fresh air, music, and sunshine. Chalk will be available to beautify the sidewalks, and we will provide light snacks and water. Limited supplies will be available for families to use.

Shoutout to our amazing building manager, Daniel, for his incredibly generous donation of four years’ worth of pop tabs to Village in support of the Ronald McDonald House!

This meaningful contribution will go a long way, and we know the Ronald McDonald House will be so grateful.
