A little update on our week so far āļø
Weāve been spending lots of time outside enjoying the sunshine (with plenty of sunblock, of course!). The kids have loved using bug nets to catch grasshoppers, and weāve also been watching more chicks hatch and learning all about that processāitās been such a fun, hands-on experience!
We are currently accepting sunblock donations to help keep everyone protected during our outdoor playtime š
With rainy weather expected ahead, please make sure to send your child with rain bootsāwe fully plan on getting the most out of our time outside, rain or shine! š§ļø

⨠Parent Appreciation Morning āØ
We made it to Friday⦠and thatās always worth a little extra love š
Tomorrow morning during drop-off, Iāll have a small coffee and treat station set up for our families. āšŖ
If you have a moment, feel free to come in and grab something on your way out.

Itās easy to rush them along.
To move past the things that feel small, unnecessary, or a bit inconvenient in the moment.
The game that goes on too long.
The story that takes forever.
The curiosity that slows everything down.
But those moments arenāt distractions from life.
They are the experience of it.
And when we constantly steer them toward whatās efficient,
whatās tidy, whatās productive ā
we risk teaching them that joy needs a purpose to be valid.
It doesnāt.
So let them linger.
Let it be messy.
Let it take longer than you planned.
Enjoy the silly, life-affirming things. ā¤ļø

āHer prices are too low⦠youāre not getting quality care.ā
Iāve heard this more than once.
And I want to gently speak to itānot to argue, but to give clarity to the families who trust me with their children every day.
Because hereās the truth:
Affordable does not mean low quality.
It means intentional.
It means Iāve made a conscious decision about what matters most in my daycareāand thatās people over profit.
When I was recovering from surgery,as a childcare provider myself, I was in a position where I couldnāt afford childcare for my own kids.
And that experience changed me.
It opened my eyes to how hard it is for families to find safe, loving, consistent care⦠without feeling like theyāre drowning financially just to go to work.
Thatās when I realizedāchildcare isnāt just a service.
Itās a village.
At Wild Roots, Iām not trying to be the most expensive option.
Iām trying to be the place where:
⢠Your child is known, not just watched
⢠They feel safe, loved, and part of something
⢠You donāt have to choose between quality care and paying your bills
⢠You feel supported as a parentānot judged
I run a small, intentional program.
We spend time outside.
We learn through play.
We build relationships.
We grow together.
And yesāI keep my prices at a place that families can realistically afford.
Because I believe childcare should be accessible⦠not a luxury.
If youāre looking for care that feels like an extension of home,
thatās what I offer here.
And Iām really proud of that.
