I just got off the phone with the El Paso County Sheriff's Office, who is now booked up until June 3rd for concealed carry permit appointments. I asked them what happens once they fill up all of June and the requirements change July 1st? Do I stop teaching until July 1st? Unfortunately, they don't know yet, which isn't their fault. I assume every county is having the same issue thanks to our wonderful Colorado Democrats who voted in favor of HB24-1174 last year. Thankfully, I do not teach full-time, but many instructors do and this is going to hurt them.

Colorado residents, take your concealed carry class now before the new concealed carry requirements kick in.

This class combines both the basic pistol and the concealed carry class into one so that every student has a solid foundation. Range time is optional and can be included after class which takes place at the same location in an indoor range. Rentals are available. It's advised not to purchase until after taking a class first.

Here's an update on the bills in CO. We're getting down to the end. After May 8th, no more bills can pass. I know you're tired, so am I, but now is the time to push the hardest!

Please email/call all Senators and email/call the Governor. We can not let anymore bills pass!!

The legislative session ends May 8th, which can't come soon enough! That means it's crunch time.

Here are the bills that will be heard in front of the Senate at some point before May 8th. Get those testimonies ready!!

A lot of people are panic buying, which you probably should since the AWB bill has gotten this far. That said, please support stores that have fought for this community. I can name very few stores that have actually been active in spreading the word about these horrible anti-gun bills AND testified against them. These are the places that deserve your business! I will say, none of the big box stores have done anything and majority of ma and pop shops either. Look on their social media to see if they've helped spread the word. If they haven't, please don't support them. They're just businesses and not true patriots.
