Summit Homeschool Community (Mt. Zion Campus) is preparing for an incredible year at our beautiful new Briargate campus, and we need just a few more students to make two of our most exciting programs happen:

🛰️ Our Aerospace program offers students hands-on opportunities to explore aviation, space exploration, engineering, and STEM concepts, inspiring the next generation of innovators.

🇨🇳 Our Mandarin Chinese program opens doors to one of the world's most widely spoken languages while helping students develop valuable cultural awareness and communication skills.

How Our Enrichment Program Works!

Our Friday Enrichment Program is designed to complement and support your homeschool journey by offering students opportunities for hands-on learning, creativity, collaboration, leadership development, and friendships, all in a tuition-free program.

Homeschool families enroll at: https://enroll.che.school/signup (Branch Campus: Mt. Zion)

Grade Levels Served: We currently offer enrichment opportunities for:
* Elementary School (K5–5th Grade)
* Middle School (6th–8th Grade)
* High School (9th–12th Grade)

Classes are grouped by age and developmental level to create engaging and meaningful experiences for students.

Subjects & Enrichment Classes: Our enrichment offerings change and grow each year based on student interests and teachers' specialties. Our classes may include:
* Art & Creative Design
* Team Building & Leadership
* PE & Fitness
* STEM: LEGO Engineering Challenges
* Aerospace & Science Programs
* Literature & Book Clubs
* Life Skills
* ASL: American Sign Language
* Music Choir (In the future, an orchestra)
* Hands-On Science with Labs
* HS Only: Forensics Crime Scene Investigation
* History & Interactive Learning Experiences

We are especially excited about several new programs and partnerships we are developing for next year!

How We Support Homeschool Families:

We believe parents are the primary educators of their children, and our role is to partner with families. (I homeschooled my four children through High School. I know and understand the calling well.)

🌏 New 5th - 12th Grade Opportunity – Mandarin Chinese! If you would like to secure your place in our Mandarin Chinese class, you have two options:
1. Register through the CHE Portal
This option gives your student access to all enrichment classes for their grade level.
2. Self-Pay Option
$600 per year (family/sibling discounts available)

We are exploring the possibility of offering a High School Mandarin Chinese class next school year—and we want to hear from you!
We have a teacher (parent) who is passionate about sharing her native language and culture with students, and we are considering adding this to our program.
