Our indoor field day was a huge success thanks to our teachers, staff, volunteers, and students! A huge shoutout to our favorite Movement teacher, Mrs. Wood for creating an amazing day of activity, conversation, and teamwork centered around our Character Traits!

Mrs. Vazquez's kindergarten class celebrated Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month by trying mochi and making colorful origami! We enjoyed learning about different cultures and traditions!

The countdown to return those Library books is on! There are currently 375 books still checked out. The first class to return all their books earns a popsicle party and 30 minutes of extra prep for their teacher!

More great news from TdVA 5th grade! Ellie won the Mountain View Electric Coloring Contest! Her design will be turned into a sticker to promote electrical safety.

Congratulations to 5th grader Audrey, who was one of 6 winners in the city of Colorado Springs, Jean Ciavonne Poetry Contest! The theme was “Remembering our Past to Inform Our Future”. She submitted a poem that tells a story about a Colorado’s history to modern-day life. She received an award this past Saturday through the Pikes Peak Library District.
