The 2025-2026 staff hopes you have a fantastic summer! We will see the new class of naturalists in August. The social media accounts will be inactive until we return in August.

This week we are celebrating staff appreciation week here at SITW! Thank you to our whole staff for all you do!

During Spring Field Projects, ornithology students found this frozen Two-tailed Swallowtail butterfly!

Naturalists enjoyed visiting Fountain Creek Nature Center today. Turkeys,lizards, snakes, and many birds were big hits!

A big thank you to Don Healer for building our Bobcat Class Buddy Bench. This week’s Ornithology class got to enjoy it after birding in the field.

Spring Field Projects have begun! Students are exploring dendrology, fire ecology, pond studies, and ornithology.
