What an adventure! 😃
We arrived in Nairobi late Saturday night after 40 hours of travel. Finally settling into the Lukenya Resort at 1:30am Sunday. We were able to get about 5 hours of sleep before jumping into day 1 of Coach Camp Africa. So many miracles from God to get us here! Much prayer and fasting from everyone in Africa, our ministry partners throughout the US, our Navigator colleagues, and our PCCI friends. 😇

Day 1 was filled with joy, eagerness and full engagement by everyone. Debi and I were able to open the sessions with our expression of love and thanks to all those attending. 68 leaders, trainers, and missionaries from 16 countries successfully made the trip to Kenya. Filled with His Spirit, we had the energy to lead throughout the 14 hours before we finally crashed to a good night’s sleep at 9:30pm last night.

God is doing a transforming work here in Africa. Many laughs, tears of joy, and passion to pursue God’s purposes and plans.

Huge praises for our friends, Chris and Mical, driving us to Orlando airport!! We are in line waiting for airport to open so we can check in... still need some God-sized miracles. 🙏🏼🔥😇

Good morning!! Everyone in Tampa weathered the Hurricane well. Lifting up those in the Fort Meyers area that have been devastatingly impacted.

Heading out for Africa this morning after multi-day efforts to rebook our travel 5 times. Please pray fervently for all our flights and connections to go well. We need everything to fall in place perfectly to arrive in Kenya at 10:00pm on Saturday after 21 hours of travel. Going from Tampa to Atlanta to Amsterdam to Nairobi on Delta and KLM.

Our other team members left yesterday and should arrive in Kenya today. I have no doubt God will move mountains during our 10 days in Africa. We have 6 days in Kenya with ~70 leaders from 16 countries and then 4 days in Rwanda with 17 staff receiving coaching in that country.

Debi is out of surgery and in recovery. Should be another hour or so before I can see her. Surgeon said everything went well and she did not anticipate any additional concerns going forward. Biopsy results on the tissue removed take about a week to confirm they removed all the cancer and the margins are clear. We appreciate the team of prayer warriors surrounding us! Keep ‘em coming.

Today, we get to listen in on a special conversation, a truly sacred space. We invite you to turn off your earthly ears. Don’t listen for answers to complex questions. Instead, open up your spiritual ears and learn to ask the right questions, be in the questions, and seek God on what he wants for us in this culture.

For such a time and place as this:

Consider the bigger, better vision of true unity so you can see and appreciate dynamic diversity.
See our differences, but do not be impaired by them.
Practice plugging things into the context of Scripture, instead of lifting things out of context.
