After 11 years, I’m closing the doors on my doula agency.

This work has shaped me in ways I’ll carry forever; through beautiful births, late-night texts, quiet postpartum moments, and the deep trust families place in their care teams.

I’m deeply grateful to the families who welcomed us into their lives, and to the doulas and collaborators who shared this path with me.

For the families currently under contract: your care remains fully supported, and you will continue to be held through the completion of your services.

This isn’t an ending born from failure. It’s a conscious closing of a chapter that feels complete.

I’m still here; just in a different season.

PLACEMENT with Colorado Mountain Doulas

Hello, we are first-time parents who are hoping for a few weeks (4 weeks) of support when we bring our baby boy home in August. I plan to have a C-section and would like the help while recovering and adjusting to our new family dynamic and schedule.
Contract Specifics

Expected Date of Birth: Aug 5, 2025

Expected Contract Dates: Jul 28, 2025 to Aug 28, 2025

City: Edwards, CO

Requested Schedule: 5-8 hour day shifts, 4-5 Days/wk. They are pretty flexible. 4-5 days/wk for 4 weeks with an option to extend.

Travel Requirements: no travel

Job Requirements: Help with feeding, changing, bathing, sleep schedule, and basic needs for the baby, day to day

Doula Requirements: someone who is kind, patient, and willing to teach my husband and me how to best care for the baby

Pets: 1 (8-year-old golden retriever who loves everyone)

Support Needs

Infant Feeding Plan: I plan and hope to breastfeed

Sleep Goals: whatever is best for the baby

Preferred Methodology/Sleep Goals: whatever is best for the baby

Pet Care Requested: no

Off-Duty Doula Accommodations: guest room and private full bath in walk-out basement. They prefer someone local, but they are open to someone traveling in.

Family Religious or Cultural Needs: Catholic and be kind!

NDA Required: No

Security Knowledge Required: No

Additional Notes: She is expecting a cesarean in late July. They are looking for one-on-one support with day-to-day routines. They have accommodations IF someone has no other options.

Hourly Rate: $30-$50/hr

Overnight and Daytime Postpartum Support

Expected Date of Birth: Feb 5, 2025
City: Denver
Accommodations
Schedule Needed: Start with one night any time just to catch up on sleep and then 2 nights/wk 1 day/wk to get started. starting next week. They may want to increase.
Expected Length of Contract: Starting with 1 month, possibly extending.
Doula Accomodations: Next to the nursery is a guest bedroom. Video monitor

Additional Notes: They have the nanit but they are still figuring out the settings. Help with that is a plus. She would like someone with experience who can give them guidance, tips and tricks, etc.
