Hello everyone! Grant Elmentary is hosting our annual Trunk or Treat on October 30th!
To help make this event a success, we're reaching out to local businesses and individuals to donate candy and help us bring joy to our students.
If you know of anyone who can help, please spread the word!
Thank you in advance! Please feel free to share. And we can also pick up donations. 🥰

Attention Grant Lion Readers!
Our school Read-a-Thon is struggling, and we need your help to save it!
Currently, we only have about 20% of students who have activated their Reader Dashboards. That means that 80% of students are missing out on a chance to earn great prizes and read!

Because of this, we are extending the Read-a-Thon ONE MORE WEEK!
To make it even better, we're already giving out prizes! Starting on Monday, every reader that has activated their online reader dashboard will receive a Read-a-Thon goody bag! See the picture below for a sample of items that will be inside.

Here are some helpful links that you can access if you need additional information:

Grant Elementary PTA has decided to hold a Read-A-Thon again this year!
Read-A-Thons actually get your reader excited about reading and it gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more.
Our Read-A-Thon starts Monday September 22, 2025.
About one week before our Read-A-Thon starts, we will send home instructions on how to activate your reader's personal page. This is where you will be able to view and record their progress.
We've chosen Read-A-Thon because it will not take much of your time, gives your child a reason to read and earn fun prizes, and helps in the development of stronger reading skills.
We hope everyone participates!

Kind Regards,
Mary
President, Grant PTA

Here's the agenda for tonight's PTA meeting. This will be our LAST meeting of the year!

If you've been thinking about trying a meeting but haven't gotten around to it yet, this is your chance! We'll be recapping recent school events and making plans for next year. We would love to have your input even if it's your first time!

If you’re coming to Skate City tonight, stop by the PTA/SAC info table in the cafe at 6:30! We’ll be talking about what these groups do and how families can get involved next year.

If you’ve ever been curious but haven’t committed to a meeting yet, this is your chance to ask ALL the questions!

FYI, did you know SAC stands for School Accountability Committee? Weird name, I know.
