I want to Congratulate the 🎉Herrera Family on their fantastic efforts at the Sand and Sage fair. Not only did Brecklyn have the Grand Champion Market Lamb (bred by us 😊) but Blake was Grand Champion Senior Showman. The kids managed to get all their lambs into the Grand Drive and you just can’t ask for anything more than that! Another great year for this hard working family ❤️ Also Congratulations to Katy and Ed Diemer who bred one of the first place lambs in this group.

Huge shout out to the Herrera Family finishing up the show season at the Holly Gateway Fair- Giving it their best efforts always, even while facing arguably lifes hardest struggle. I’m humbled by how hard you work, Thank You!❤️Brecklyn earned Grand Champion Showman and Blake was Second with his Bob Ross wether!

Sophia Ritchie is having herself a fair in Jefferson County!!! Great job Champion and Reserve Champion Breeding ewes and Third in her market class with yet another awesome ewe- someone is going to have nice lambs next year 😊

Las Animas County Fair is in the books and it was a fun year filled with new challenges and lots of learning- all good things. Proud of my Grandson Alec as he has become much more independent in his care of his lambs and did a great job this year! Grand Champion Jr Showman, 1st, 2nd and 3rd in his market classes. On to State Fair 😊

It’s been a challenging year to say the very least and we haven’t had much time to get pictures out- but, I’m so proud of the kids who showed in Douglas County last week, I had to share a few. The competition is always fierce there, which makes it that much more fun. We had a 4Her in each age division showing our lambs and they all did an outstanding job preparing their lambs and presenting them. Thanks you!

So very happy for this hard working family. Not all of our customers have 2 county fairs, but the Herrera’s do. In both of their fairs they managed to get all their lambs into the Grand Drive. Friday was no different as Brecklyn won both Grand and Reserve Champion Market Lamb and was also the Grand Intermediate Showman. Congratulations to Blake for also winning his class and working hard all year and doing so well at State Fair as well. Good job Herrera family 💕

Also exciting news out of Jefferson County this week, Sophia Ritchie who showed lambs for the first time this year had an awesome County Fair! Sophia came and picked up a breeding ewe and a market wether from our little sale this year and it turned out pretty well for her! She was the Grand Champion Senior Showman, had the Grand Overall Breeding ewe and Reserve Grand Champion Market Lamb! Her hard work excercising and feeding well paid off 😊. Busy and exciting week for us. The Herrera family’s hard work paid off in Prowers County in both Market and Showmanship. Brecklyn was Reserve Grand Int Showman and Blake was third. They took 5 lambs to fair and got 3 firsts and 2 second places in market, with Brecklyn earning Reserve Grand Champion Market Lamb with one of our ewes. More impressive in my mind was how awesome this family works together as a team and made each of their lambs look as good as they could- Thank You for believing in us and doing such a great job!
