In This video you can see a sample from one of our TDSCU Courses. This clip is from a Jazz course entitle: "The Jazz Coordination Ritual" book available on Hudson Music, and at ThedrumSetCoach site. This is from a live classroom setting , and we were talking about jazz time feels, including "Broken Time" students were learning how to play in 4/4 swing using the ride, hi-hat, bass drum and snare drum plus the entire kit, to keep the flow, and at the same time create dialog and phrasing. This requires 4-limb coordination, which is addressed on the course as well. The hi hat and ride is not only playing the time, but it is also part of the "conversation"
