Spent yesterday at Cheyenne Mountain State Park with Colorado Springs Astronomical Society for a SUN-day in the park.

We (Colorado Springs Astronomical Society) are out at Cheyenne Mountain State Park until about noon. If the sun comes out we'll be viewing our star!

SUN-Day in the park at Mueller State Park with Colorado Springs Astronomical Society earlier today. Got an image of the sun before the clouds rolled in. We were lucky to get a little cloud iridescence due to diffraction; when small ice crystals or water droplets scatter the sun's light.

Got out today with Colorado Springs Astronomical Society at Bear Creek Nature Center & Fountain Creek Nature Center to do some solar observing through the clouds.

Attended the National Space Day Community Event last week (5/3/25) at the with and captured an image of the sun.
