..The mantra I keep going back to over and over so I always remember to keep joy in my life no matter what is going on.

This is tough after last week, after a lot of challenging events over the years, and after changes and imperfections in my own self are frustrating...

..and while the woman who was the catalyst that saved me from my past is suffering in terminal illness and I can't do anything about that. She knows who she is and while we were never "besties," I adored her before that, and after that I literally owe her my life.

There is real pain in life.

Josh and I had a heart to heart yesterday about challenges we're facing, and I can't express how wonderful it is to be in a healthy, aligned, safe, mutually supportive relationship.

I needed some support and he was there without hesitation. Of course he was. And he needed some too, and there I was.

We ultimately encouraged each other to rise above ourselves.

And I just wanted to share this reminder with you.
