For more than a month, the nearly 100 TSA personnel working at the Colorado Springs Airport have been working without pay due to the partial government shutdown.

To show appreciation for their service, the Colorado Springs Airport is looking to support them with food and gas.

Local TSA leadership is accepting gift cards of a maximum of $20 to grocery stores and gas stations, as well as meals brought in.

Hello my friends! What great Winter Olympic Games! So proud of our Team USA for getting 12 Gold Medals. This was one of our most successful Winter Olympics ever. Special congratulations to the men's hockey team who took home the gold for the first time since 1980! How wonderful that so many athletes in these Olympics are from Colorado! The only country that did better than the USA is Norway! Maybe this is because they have national dishes like the "Success Cake!" Maybe we can gain some success from them by eating this same dish! That's exactly what we're going to do!

Friday March 6th, we will be having a Scandinavian themed dinner, with a glass of red or white wine included. It will be from 6PM-8PM, and $65 per person.

Entree: Swedish Meatballs with Fresh Pasta and White Sauce
Dessert: Norwegian Almond Suksessterte "Success Cake"
