On Tuesday, September 1st, we held our first Sand Creek Zone Partners meeting at The Yeti Campus- Springs Studio and Pikes Peak Early College.

Zone Superintendent Dustin Horras explained School Performamce Framework (SPF) ratings and where our schools fell in the formula. We are excited to share that Pikes Peak Early College, Evans Elementary School and Stetson Elementary School all earned the level of Distinction! He also reviewed how licensed staff are evaluated and what goes into their overall rating.

Mike Masino, Choice and Success Advisor for our secondary schools, talked about the opportunities available to students through work based learning, internships and job shadowing.

Congratulations to Brian Fairall and Travis Cormaney from Safety and Security for earning In the Zone Awards!

💙Brian Fairall went above and beyond by walking the perimeter of Stetson Elementary School’s new fencing and providing valuable safety insights and recommendations to strengthen protocols and maximize the safety of students and staff during an emergency.

💙 Travis Cormany consistently strengthens safety across the Sand Creek Zone by proactively monitoring school security, providing dependable guidance and support, and approaching every situation with a calm, positive demeanor and genuine commitment to students, staff, and familie
