❤️Sherry Quitano “consistently and quietly goes above and beyond for our building. Through her work with Anchored for Life, she provides incredible support to our military families and ensures that students feel welcomed, valued, and loved at school.

Sherry dedicates countless hours to her work, often staying late and putting in extra effort to meet the needs of students and families. She does this without seeking recognition, simply because she cares deeply about our school community.

In addition to her leadership with students, Sherry is a wonderful teacher who leads her classroom with intention and heart. She collaborates thoughtfully with her team and supports those around her. Her steady presence, dedication, and commitment to serving others truly put her “In the Zone” every single day.”

Attention Future Horizon Middle School Families! Is your 5th grader headed to Horizon this fall? D49 is hosting a Free Summer Spanish Camp this June. Don’t miss this opportunity to jumpstart their language skills before the new school year begins! Camp will be held at Sand Creek High School 7005 Carefree Cir N, Colorado Springs, CO 80922

The goal of Summer Spanish Club is to:

🌸Engage in hands on activities
🌸Collaborate with peers
🌸Develop multicultural awareness
🌸Introduce students to Spanish culture and language

This program is FREE of charge and all supplies will be provided. Students will also be entered into a raffle to win fun prizes at camp! Please send your child with a NUT-FREE snack for each day of camp.

🕧Times: 8:00 - 11:00 daily, please pick up promptly at 11am.

📆Dates: June 1 - June 5, Monday - Friday for one week. Transportation is NOT provided for this camp.

By registering for Summer Spanish Camp, you are committing your child to the entire program. We recommend registering as soon as possible to avoid being waitlisted, this is first come first serve. You will be notified by the last week of April regarding your enrollment status.
