The Office of Early Childhood (OEC),​ Early Childhood Leadership Commission (ECLC), and the​ Raise Colorado​ coalition want to know your thoughts on​ Senate Bill 63.

They are looking for your​ perspective on:​

1) the reasons for the dramatic decline in family child care homes and infant care in Colorado since 2010, and​

2) possible recommendations to be included in the Infant and Family Child Care Shortage Strategic Action Plan.​ ​

The Colorado legislature passed​ Senate Bill 19-063: Infant and Family Child Care Action Plan​ in 2019 in effort to address Colorado's dramatic loss of family and infant child care since 2010. The bill​ charged the OEC and the ECLC with developing a strategic action plan to address that loss.​

As a parent, provider, advocate, educator or other interested party, your input will ensure that the SB-63 report that is delivered to the Colorado General Assembly on Dec. 1, 2019 is as robust and solution-focused as possible.
